PERSONAL PROFILE
A friendly and highly motivated first class Drawing and Printmaking graduate with a passion for creativity and community engagement. Independent and proactive with excellent time management skills developed through a Graduate Educational Artist Residency and self-directed degree projects. Strong communication and organisational skills gained through work experience and volunteering in business, events, customer service, and care. My practice explores my identity and heritage, taking inspiration from traditional Japanese printmaking and classic British textiles. My experience from the Educational Artist Residency has harboured a passion to inspire and nurture children in their own artistic self-expression.

Graduate Artist in Residence, Chapel Art Studios (CAS), Andover, 2024.

- Artist residency involving primary school teaching placement. Responsibilities include lesson planning, ensuring that teaching material is engaging, fun, educational and accessible, as well as delivering and running the sessions once a week. I am responsible for two classes of 32 year 4 children, teaching each class for an hour and a half on alternating weeks for the duration of the residency. Sessions have focussed on the theme of storytelling through art, self expression and identity. I have also been responsible for ensuring smooth communication between the primary school teachers, myself and Chapel Art Studios, ensuring that all parties are well informed and happy
- Developed valuable organisational skills, managing my time between working full time
in Bristol Monday-Thursday and teaching and dedicating time to my creative practice
in the studio in Andover (Hampshire) on Fridays and weekends

Currently organising an exhibition showcasing the collaboration between myself and
the primary school children that I have been teaching, which will take place in the
Chapel Gallery at the Chapel Art Studios in Andover. Have gained experience in

reintegrate them back into the community to boost wellbeing and to build long term
and meaningful social connections in their communities
